Welcome

The Unofficial Guide to Masters of the Universe Classics to get a highly limited second printing!

By the Power of Grayskull! Yup, it’s official folks: we’ve once again taken it upon ourselves to finance a highly limited print run of the MOTUC guide book for North America.

We are currently accepting pre-orders. If you are reading this message, you get first crack at reserving an issue of the book by prepaying for it. Simply send an email to orders@motucguide.website requesting an invoice. Once you pay the invoice, your copy or copies will be guaranteed.

During this exclusive pre-order period, each buyer may only purchase up to 5 copies of the book. We want to make sure as many folks that want a copy can get one, and we don’t want to pre-sell out.

Despite rising costs, we have found a way to retain the $54 price point plus $4 shipping anywhere in the USA. If you live abroad, please make sure to mention it when you request an invoice, as your shipping rates will vary (and be significantly more, unfortunately. The average total for the book plus shipping-except to Canada and Mexico- is $92 to $96).

Preorder fulfillment will begin by late April, 2019.

Order your copy today! This highly-limited second print run is sure to sell out fast.

Thank you for your support,

David, Rod and Jose (authors of the unofficial MOTUC guide)

Closed for Vacation July 19th through the 27th, 2018

Dear friends: We will be on vacation starting on Monday, July 19 through Wednesday, July 27.
Any orders placed during this time will be on hold until our return. We may also be slow replying to email and private messages, so if you have any questions or would like to order a book, the time to ask and get a prompt reply is now, and before Monday. Your last chance for shipping before our vacation will be on Monday the 19th in the morning, so you would have had to have paid your invoice by Sunday afternoon. Thank you again for your support!

Welcome to the MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE CLASSICS UNOFFICIAL GUIDE’s official website

Greetings and salutations, fellow MotU enthusiasts!
You may have heard of the unofficial MotuC guide book was released in Europe last year. It covers all of the MotuC product released by Mattel through mattycollector, as well as their short-lived Thundercats line (the Super 7 MotUC releases are not included as they are still being produced).
The book includes all the figures, accessories, playset and vehicles released, has in-depth information about them, an index by year of release and an index by character name, it features gorgeous high-definition pictures, and also includes original bios for each character, and even some great customs and dioramas as “extras”. Last but not least, it includes an interview with Axel Giménez about his work on the line.
This is a bilingual book, printed in both English and Spanish, 288 full-color pages plus 2 color inside covers, printed on 80 lb weight, matte-coated paper in a gorgeous 8.27″ x 11.69″ format.
Through a special arrangement with the main author, David Sullyvan, we have gained exclusive rights to make a highly limited print run of the second edition of this book to distribute in the USA. The print run is limited to 100 copies.

The book will be exclusively available at toy shows and toy collecting conventions in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, through local dealers like Cargo Hold Collectibles and Digital Realm Models and Toys. There will be a poster with the book cover on display by their table. Cost at the shows will be $50 if paying in cash or with a money order.

The books are also available for sale through PayPal (fulfillment through media mail) in the USA. These are marked up to $58 to account for shipping costs, paypal fees, mailer/packing materials and handling time. The books are in hand and will ship within 5 business days of receiving payment. If you want a book, send an email to orders@motucguide.website with your paypal address and you will be sent a PayPal invoice. This is not automated, so please give it a day to arrive before writing to follow-up.

Below are some sample pages from the book.

And a pic of the physical books, lest you think this is some kind of con 🙂
